A timely post indeed, if I could choose the words this will be it. Nobody likes to accept that what was built is now faulty and that it won’t stand the test of time. To rebuild is painful only if we stay by the sidelines with indecision to go forward or not, once the decision is made you feel liberated at last. I wished with all my heart that it would be different but I need to embrace what is and stop trying to see it as something that is not.

Over this past week, I have been learning a lot about persevering through trials (James 1:2-4). There was one point of a video I was watching with my coworkers that has stuck with me more than anything. Sometimes it takes failure to find the greater opportunities that God has for us. I’m not sure what it is that you might be going through, but it seems that it is in a state of failure. In regards to rebuilding, failure is an opportunity to rebuild stronger and better, starting with the foundation. Most entrepreneurs fail 7 times before they succeed in their business ventures. It comes down to perseverance, and I think more importantly the foundations that are being built upon.
You are right Tony, the foundation is the most important part of any building or rebuilding for that matter. Looking back I can see the times when I was not attentive enough to the signs of deterioration and how soon everything could fall down, I never thought it could. I guess I am always the hopeful dreamer that the ground was solid enough to withstand any storm.
