New entry category: I Need a Friend
There is a growing need to communicate in order to find answers and relief to our emotional needs. We find ourselves sometimes isolated and unable to find someone to talk to frankly. Friends are few and far in between and we need unconditional love and understanding. You can share your present challenge or situation or share how a friend helped you go through a challenge or difficult situation in the past.
On I Need a Friend category I will post your entries as you send them to me. Hopefully we get a lot of people to participate and help with their advice and experience.
Send your entries to: editor@clarylopez.com
By submitting your entries you are granting me permission to post and print your story. Entries will be corrected as needed but not rewritten. You can include your real name, website or blog URL if you wish on your postings.
It is my hope to attract professionals into this section of the blog: therapist, spiritual directors, deacons and pastors.

amazing idea
What can an average guy who occasionally swings by this page or your 360 page do to participate?
Hi George,
Just send an entry to the email listed above or stop by and check the category to help someone by commenting. Thanks
Hi Clary,
I just want to tell you about my current situation. Then, maybe you can be friend to me by simply sharing your words of encouragement, or maybe even criticism.
He was almost born on the freeway! Veteran’s Day, a Monday, of November of 2007. It was already pretty cold by then. I was laboring all through the night and my whole body was trembling. And at 6:11am my anointed creation was
out of the water and now laying on my belly, inside of my arms!
A very significant factor of my Birth Plan was that we wanted this little one to perform the “Breast Crawl” but he was only 4lbs 9 1/2oz, so we had to cover him up to keep him warm. He was the Smallest Baby ever born at Best Start Birth Center. Moreover, breastfeeding was a nightmare and I was bleeding by the 3 day.
I started to feel a little down, because for almost 2 months I was forced to pump my milk ’round the clock to provide him its nutrition and establish my milk supply. I didn’t have any desire to put him on Formula.
Throughout this difficult time, 3 lovely professionals (birthing instructor, lactation consultant, and DC/craniosacral therapist) in this growing industry came along side me to support me, to care for me and mother me. I felt nurtured by these women more than by my own mother and family. Along with the support of my husband, I was able to overcome my sadness with joy.
My son received therapy to enable him to latch on properly, and this restored my self-confidence knowing that the problem was with him and not myself. Finally, after about 2 weeks of breastfeeding , we established the foundation of a bond that is undeniable amongst onlookers. And that was the bond I seeking since I first laid my eyes upon his angelic face.
-Thanks Clary for being a friend and letting me share my story with you!
Please include my webpage url at the end of the story as a link: yourBondServant.com & yourBondServant.org
You may notice that my “flow” was interrupted, well that’s because I put my son to sleep and then I fell asleep at the computer last night, so I was just finishing up now. Feel free to edit what’s necessary
Clary,
